The tour covers the modern city center, the colorful market,
Parliament, the Railway museum and the renowned National Museum
where there are spellbinding displays of the early man, tribal
regalia and flora and fauna of Kenya. A visit to the adjacent
snake park is also included. The tour returns to the city
center in time for lunch.
NAIROBI
NATIONAL PARK - 4 HOURS (ITSX 003)
This unique wildlife sanctuary is just a few kilometers from
Nairobi’s bustling city center. Despite Its proximity,
over 50 species of mammals can be found there, including four
of the Big Five. The tour also includes a visit to the Animal
orphanage at the park gate. The tour returns to the city center
by sundown.
KAREN
BLIXEN MUSEUM AND GIRAFFE CENTRE - 3 HOURS (ITSX 005)
Drive towards the Ngong Hills and pass the Ngong village to
the Karen Blixen Museum, which for many years was her home.
Later proceed to the Giraffe Center to see and feed the famous
Rothschild Giraffe and her family.

Boma is a homestead and just a few kilometers from the city
center, numerous homesteads reflecting Kenya’s cocktail
of cultures have been faithfully recreated for visitors to
see traditional village life. But the greatest excitement
during the afternoon visit is the display of traditional dancing,
music and song performed in a splendid arena. And if you feel
you can test your bones with this truly African thing, join
the dance and proof yourself just as good.
LAKE
NAKURU NATIONAL PARK - FULL DAY (ITSX 011)
Lake
Nakuru lies in the volcano strewn Rift Valley, one of a chain
of 8 lakes, which stretch the length of Kenya from Tanzania
to Ethiopia. The 160km drive from Nairobi passes through highland
farms of the Kikuyu people before descending into the dramatic
Rift valley. Lunch is taken in the park and is followed by
an extensive tour of which focuses on the bewildering spectacle
of a million flamingoes, and also seeks out the large variety
of wildlife with which the park abounds. On the return journey
to Nairobi a stop is made at Lake Naivasha for tea among the
fever trees, where bird watchers will delight in fantastic
array of bird life.
